I had to get rid of the baby character because the model was making the software run too slow, so I am using a book instead. It makes it more interesting than having her just drinking out of a glass and it also means i can get rid of the TV which was not really serving any function in the first place.
I am between clips 1 and 2 because they are the strongest. Out of those two I would say 2 is my favourite. it has really strong reaction between the two.Your rough boards work pretty well. I ant you to think about giving them something to be doing on the sofa. Not as obvious as they are sitting and drinking. One may be reading a book, close the book and leave. One has the remote. Give them something to be doing so that you are not just placing them on the sofa so that there is no real interaction. You could also have the guy sit down at the beginning, not have both of them sitting at the beginning. Something else that might be intriquing is maybe she is holding a baby. He is reading a book. Again you never see the baby it is just more of a bundle. Give them something that they are doing in the scene. Thats the point. I think that is going to be a lot of fun. Sketchbook 2 is good as a track but unless you can think with something that is really dramatic I would go with number two which is such a dramatic scene.
Sketchbook face is actually pretty fun. You have really pushed the face. You have really got his eye. The other thing to be aware of is the black and the shadow. But I think it is a lot of fun what you did there. Maybe a squint in the nose, but overall nice shot especially what you did with the lips there.
